With ‘EVE Online’ Anywhere beta, you can play the MMO in your browser
EVE Online is a game known for its enormous (en expensivespace battles And while you could get in with a relatively modest PC (and soon Mac), having a more powerful system has always helped. At least, it used to be the case. Developer CCP games announced today that it is starting beta testing a version of the game called EVE everywhere you can play the MMO with, well, almost anywhere. All you need to watch the game in its latest version is a compatible browser – be it Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox – and a fast enough internet connection. In addition, the new client allows you to play the game at 1080p and 60 frames per second, without any additional download from your end.
The beta is currently open to anyone in the US who would like to try it, although you must meet a number of requirements. Current players paying for the $ 15 per month Omega subscription can check out EVE everywhere at any time during the limited-time beta and at no extra cost. In the meantime, if you are new EVE, you will be automatically signed up for the beta when you create an account. You will have to wait for an invitation from CCP, but you can skip the queue by paying for an Omega subscription.
